The ‘Beast from the East’ has given us chance to break open those winter favourites again to tackle that cold snow and look fabulous doing so.

If you want to be noticed but not look like the Michelin man in all those layers I would recommend my favourites; The Caldene Estate 3/4 Length Waterproof Fur Leather Suede Muck Country Boot, they keep my feet and legs extremely warm, cosy and dry; they are so lightweight which makes them a great winter option for riding instead of those cold leather riding boots.

They come fabulously packaged in the Caldene box opening the box was like Christmas all over again the smell of the Suede is just beautiful, now first thing you would be worried about Suede – Water I don’t think so …. These are in fact waterproof the water just rolls off the material very similar to duck feathers the water just does not stick, in regard to mud to attaching to the Suede I would advise waiting for the mud to dry then just simply brush it off making them look brand new again.

Riding test – These are so sturdy in the stirrups you have so much grip in them they just don’t move, they fit comfortably in the stirrup irons I’m not forcing them through to get them stuck.

You can wear these beautiful boots down on your winter days at the yard or dress them up on a casual winters day with the faux fur lining you will not be stuck with cold toes.

I love these boots – great buy
